combines City Staff, business leaders, leading
city agencies and Main Street business and/or
property owners into a group dedicated to
revitalizing the heart of our city, Main Street.

The FY 2009-10 Board of Directors
Brian Springberg: President, MS Property Owner
Brian Springberg is a Certified Financial Planner with Springberg McAndrew Financial Services and first moved to Lake Havasu City in 1973. He is
a past Chairman for the Partnership for Economic Development, past President of the Lake Havasu City Rotary Club and has been involved in
numerous other charitable and service organizations. He is 50% owner of a large land parcel on McCulloch Blvd. Brian is married to his high school
sweetheart, Wendy, and has two children, Alexandra and Sam.

Lisa Van Ella: Vice President/Treasurer/MS Business Owner
Lisa Van Ella and her husband, Steve, own the Red Onion on Main Street. She also serves as Manager of the North Branch of Mohave State Bank.
She has a son, Wyatt.

Regan Bruttig: Secretary, MS Business Owner
Regan Bruttig is the owner of Schlotzsky's Deli on Main Street. A 25 year resident of Lake Havasu City, she was born and raised in Lake Havasu and
graduated among the top 10 students from Lake Havasu High School in 1999. Following graduation, Regan studied at Arizona State University in Tempe,
Guildhall University in London and the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland. In 2003, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Barrett Honors
College at Arizona State University with a BS in Small Business/Entrepreneurship Management.

Steve Greeley: Past President, MS Property Owner
Steve Greeley is the owner of KJJJ-KNTR radio stations. He and his wife, Cathy, are raising their two children in the town where he grew up and went to
the local High School. Steve is part of an LLC that owns several properties on Main Street. He is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, the PED, the
HFHE Board and has served as a past City Council member.

Gregg Staples: MS Business Owner
Gregg owns the famous Gilroy Garlic franchise for the area and works with his family promoting their Main Street outlet, A Stinkin' Rose. He is married to
the lovely Tiana.

Paul Selberg: UMS District Business Owner
Paul Selberg is President of Selberg Associates, Inc. located on Mesquite Avenue. He has been practicing architecture for the past 33 years and is
licensed in 7 western states. Also, he is a current member of the following: Lake Havasu City R/UDAT Pima Wash Committee, Mohave County Building
Board of Appeals, American Institute of Architects, United States Green Building Council, National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and
International Code Council. He holds a Master of Architecture from UCLA and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Arizona.

Barry Toombs: MS Property Owner
Barry Toombs graduated from Westminster College in 1964 with a degree in Political Science. He taught 9th grade History for 3 years at the local High
School. He left his teaching career to pursue a position with Allstate Insurance Company as a Supervising Staff Adjuster before moving to LHC in 1976.
Once in Lake Havasu, Barry purchased the franchise "Frontier Adjusters of Lake Havasu City" and became the sole owner/operator of the Multi-line
Independent Insurance Adjusting Company for 35 years. In 1982, Barry purchased his first commercial building on Main Street and then acquired his next
two properties within 3 years. Barry has continued to manage the properties for over 30 years and is now enjoying the sale of his business and retirement
since 2004.

Sam Scarmardo: MS Business and Property Owner
Sam Scarmardo owns Sam's Shooting Emporium on upper Main Street, as well as 5 other properties, and manages three more. He holds a BS in Finance
from the University of Chicago, a BA in Accounting from the University of Illinois and is currently working on his MBA. He worked for 37 years for the
Santa Fe Railway and has also been a Precious Metals Broker for 30 years. Sam is a member of the Masons, the Elks, the Shriners, and the Eagles. He is
married to Ellie, his wife of 30 years, and has three children and 3 grandchildren.

Wayne Malone: UMS Business and Property Owner
Wayne and his wifePenny, own Neat Pool Supply on Scott Ave. Wayne has a passion for improving our Main Street.

Don Callahan: City Council Partner and MS Business Owner
Don's wife, Donna, recently purchased the Yarn Shoppe on Main Street. Don owns the Dairy Queen on Maricopa near Southside Basha's.

Ed Jacobs: MS & UMS Business and Property Owner
Ed Jacobs owns Arizona Coast Properties on Scott Ave. and co-owns Grace Arts with his wife, Grace Ann, on Main Street.

Dean Agius: MS Business and Property Owner
Dean Agius owns Edgardo Jewelers on Main Street and carries on the tradition started by his father and grandfather.

Kristine Peterson: MS Business Owner, President Main Street Merchant's Association
Kristine and her husband own Gold Star Engraving on Querio.

Jeannie Nelson: MS Executive Director
Jeannie is a current member of the Lake Havasu R/UDAT Pima Wash Committee, the Freedom Bridge Foundation, The
Main Street R/UDAT committee, the Connecting Havasu Steering Committee and is an ex-officio partner with the Lake
Havasu City CVB Board, the Lake Havasu City Partnership for Economic Development, The Public Works Board and the
Main Street Merchants Association. She studied at Pierce College, Mesa State College and San Diego State University and
also holds a CHA in Hotel Administration. Jeannie and her husband, Tom, moved to Lake Havasu City four years ago to be
able to lend a hand to her mother, Ellie.
